All wrapped up!
Wire wrapped ring making. Being fully immersed in the present.
This weekend I’m hosting a wire wrapped ring making workshop at Post. I’m excited to show you all how to wrap, twist, and swirl wire to make your own gold tone stack of rings.
One of my favorite things about crafting is that it’s hard to multitask, you have to focus on what you’re doing. You have to pay attention to YOUR hands.
That rings true for much of my life right now. I have to focus on MY hand. I caught myself feeling a way about the current uptick in creative meet ups hosted by non artists. “people are crafting who never crafted before” 😭 but it is a good thing! I’m honestly happy it’s spreading. Let’s all put the phones down for an hour or two. I had to check my ego. What that gotta do with me? Business is business and when the trend cycle spins to the next thing I’ll still be here making like I’ve been doing all my life.
Anywho…
I’ve been forcing myself to record more. There’s a lot of quick krafts I want to put out. These are things I don’t want to make workshops but still want you to give a try. I see something and my brain instantly begins to reverse engineer it. The dupe may not follow the OG process to the T but it’s fun to imagine how it was created.
Here’s a Quick Kraft Designer Hack making a Cult Gaia inspired clutch.
Oh and I am still cleaning my Kraft closet :)
I hope you’re staying Krafty!
